
Charles E. Gaudet, Sr.
Beloved husband, Dad, Papa, father-in law, brother, uncle, cousin;
With great sorrow, we are announcing the passing of Charles E. Gaudet, Sr. He passed away February 22, 2023, after a nine-month battle with Glioblastoma Unmethylated Malignant Brain Cancer. Charlie was 69 years old.
Charlie was born in Arlington, Massachusetts to the late Victor A Gaudet, Sr., and the late Mary Margaret (Regan) Gaudet Iandosca on June 20, 1953.
He was raised in Woburn, Massachusetts. He graduated from Woburn High School and was a star athlete winning many titles on the wrestling team. Charlie attended Northeastern University and graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a degree in Architectural Engineering.
Charlie was an Entrepreneur in the Construction and Real Estate Industry.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Louise A. (St. Hilaire) Gaudet, and their children Charles E. Gaudet, II (Heather), Christopher A Gaudet, Sr. (Ting), Jolie D. Gorman (Casey), and Jon-Ross M. Gaudet (Sara). Charlie "Papa" idolized, forever cherished, and loved his nine grandchildren, Branson, Sage, Sabrina, Christopher Jr, Waverley, Jackson, Brooke, Scarlett, and Vivienne. He is survived by his siblings and their families, Cathy Peterson, Allison Gaudet, Michael Gaudet, Victor Gaudet, Jr., and Stephen Gaudet. He was the brother of the late Edward Gaudet. He also is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Paul and Susan St. Hilaire, Denise and Philip Hua, Daniel Delorey, Judy Gaudet, and Flora Gaudet. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, and his sisters and brother-in-law Col. Frank Collins, Claudette St. Hilaire Collins, and Diane St. Hilaire Delorey.
Charlie, Louise, and his family lived in MA and NH. Charlie's love for any outdoor and water activity brought him to the beautiful waters of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Charlie had an unquenchable thirst for water sports, especially "Barefootin", and boating. He was also passionate about health and fitness. You could be sure he would never turn down a good challenge no matter what that may be. Everyone has a great story to tell. Charlie was authentically and wholeheartedly there for all those in his life. He had very strong values, always everything with honesty and integrity. He was well-liked by everyone, mostly due to his positive high energy, his loyalty, and trustworthiness. Charlie always made time to help others.
His legacy will carry on forever reminding us to choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service. There are no words that express the greatness of this man or how grateful and blessed we are to have been able to call him husband, Dad, Papa, friend, brother, Uncle, and Cousin. Charlie was a hardworking man of strong character and an exceptional sense of loyalty and trustworthiness. Charlie's love for his wife and family and all those who were close to him are his legacies of lifetime memories and are a wonderful tribute to his life.
The family of Charlie would like to thank Novacure-Optune of Portsmouth, NH, Wentworth-Douglas Hospital Cancer Center in Dover NH, Mass General Brigham Hospital, Dana Faber, Brigham and Women's Hospital of Boston, his Oncology Surgeons, Team of Oncology Doctors and Nurses, and The Hospice Team of Doctors and Nurses for their compassionate care during Charlie's 9-month battle with cancer.

Joanne D. (Wisniewski) McKenzie
Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin;
Joanne D. (Wisniewski) McKenzie, 88, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 25, 2023, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA after a brief illness.
She was the devoted wife of the late John S. McKenzie, who predeceased her on March 9, 2020.
Born in Lowell, MA, March 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and the late Stephanie (Niemec) Wisniewski, she attended Lowell Schools was a graduate of Lowell High School in the Class of 1951, where she was awarded Carney Medal for academic excellence.
Later, she graduated from Boston University receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Prior to her retirement, Joanne was the longtime office manager and secretary for the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lowell for over 20 years.
Among her many interests, Joanne was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus, Lowell Council 72 where she volunteered with her husband and sons.
Joanne is survived by two sons: John S. McKenzie and his wife Ruth of Andover, MA, and Jeffrey S. McKenzie of Lowell, MA; two grandchildren Grace E. McKenzie and John W. “Jack” McKenzie of Andover, MA; and several nieces and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Susanne Coffin.

Kathleen P. (McHale) Broderick
Beloved mother, grandmother, and sister;
Kathleen P. “Kathy” (McHale) Broderick, 75, of Wellesley, Massachusetts, but formerly of Lowell, passed away on Saturday February 18, 2023, at Waterstone of Wellesley Assisted Living Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 18, 1947, the daughter of the late Leo and the late Doris (Hill) McHale, she attended St. Michael’s Grammar school and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the class of 1964.
Later, Kathy attended Greater Lowell Tech High school and graduated from their Licensed Practical Nurse program.
Prior to her retirement in 2007, Kathy worked as a Corporate Travel Agent for American Express in their Boston Office. Later in life, Kathy devoted her time to various volunteering positions mentoring teenage girls.
Among her many interests, Kathy had a love for traveling, visiting the beach, and watching the Patriots.
However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, watching her grandchildren play sports, and spending time with her dog Papi.
Kathy is survived by three sons Thomas Broderick Jr. and his wife Nancy of Milton, MA, Kevin Broderick and his wife Julieanne of Groton, MA, John Broderick and his wife Melissa of North Andover, MA; 11 grandchildren Olivia, Madeleine, Abigail, and Margot Broderick of Milton, MA, Cara, Elizabeth, and Kevin Broderick, Caitlin Metivier and Kyle Metivier of Groton, MA, Jack and Ava Broderick of North Andover, MA.
In addition, she is also survived by several siblings Janet Donahue of Osterville, MA, Sharon O’Brien of Los Altos, California, Martha Merritt and her husband George of Kennebunkport, Maine, Nancy Stevens and her husband John of Boston, MA, Donald McHale and his wife Paula of Tyngsboro, MA, and Norbert McHale of North Chelmsford, MA.
Besides her parents, Kathy is predeceased by her siblings Maureen Van Siclan, Barbara Randall, Patricia H. Moffett, Joanne Dougherty, Sheila Connors, Paula McHale and John L. “Jackie” McHale, Jr.

Sean M. Evans Beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle;
Sean M. Evans, 52, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023, at New England Pediatric Care in North Billerica, MA surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 6, 1971, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of M. Judith (Cunningham) Evans, who survives him and the late Brendan J. Evans, Sean grew up in a home filled with love and joy.
Besides his mother, Sean is survived by a sister Brenda I. Evans and her husband Joseph Stubblefield of Dunstable, MA; a brother Timothy C. Evans and his wife Elizabeth “Betsy” Evans of Dunstable, MA; one nephew Jack Stubblefield, two nieces Iris Stubblefield and Abigail Duggan all of Dunstable, MA.
