
Rosemarie Moynihan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister;
Rosemarie “Rudy” (O’Soro) Moynihan, 85, of Lowell, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 10, 2023, at Lowell General Hospital – Main Campus. Rudy was also, a resident of Ft. Myers, FL and Hampton Beach, where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel L. Moynihan, Jr. who died in 2009.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, April 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Margaret (Spencer) O’Soro, she attended Lowell schools and Lowell High School.
Prior to her retirement, Rudy was a cafeteria supervisor at the Greater Lowell Technical High School.
She was a former volunteer at Lowell General Hospital and was also a former member of the Lowell Senior Citizens.
Rosemarie is survived by two daughters Audrey Veiga and her husband John of Lowell and Rosemarie Santomango and her husband Kenneth of Dracut; four grandchildren Amanda Veiga of Salem, NH, Ashley Veiga and her companion Eric of Lowell, Stephanie DeGennaro of Merrimac, MA and Brian Santomango and his wife Lauren of Lowell; five great grandchildren Bianca, Emery, Elliana, Gabriel and Ella; her twin sister (of 85 years) Barbara Georgoulis of Lowell; her sister-in-law Lois O’Soro of Pittsfield, MA; and many nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion Bob Beecher of Lowell.
She was also the sister of the late Shirley Tsendeas and the late Paul “Sonny” O’Soro.

Rita J. (Tucker) Gallagher
Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt;
Rita J. (Tucker) Gallagher, 96, of Dover, New Hampshire, formerly of Exeter, NH, Nashua, NH and Lake City Fl, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Langdon Place in Dover, NH.
She was the loving wife of the late Owen F. Gallagher who passed away on December 21, 2019.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on July 28, 1926, the daughter of the late William and the late Elizabeth (Rouine) Tucker, she attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School in the class of 1944.
Prior to retirement, Rita worked for many years as an accounts payable clerk, first for Sanders Associates and later for Harris Corporation.
Rita enchanted everyone she met with her sweet demeanor, kind personality and friendly smile. She also had a love for bowling, golf, music, bingo, and chatting with her friends at coffee hour.
She is survived by four children: Ellen Berchtold and her husband Bruce of Deerfield, NH, Owen F. Gallagher Jr. of Wynantskill, NY, Susan Allard and her husband Mario of Manchester, NH, and Maureen Gallagher and her husband Dennis Moulton of Portsmouth, NH, six grandchildren Patricia DeCourcy and her husband Thomas of Bedford, NH, Joseph Berchtold and his wife Courtney of Manchester, NH, Kathleen Turner of Ravena, NY, Daniel Gallagher-Kats and his wife Michelle of Framingham, MA, Nicole Rissman and her husband Derek of Solana Beach, CA, Michelle Allard and her husband Ross Terrance of Vancouver BC Canada, nine great grandchildren Miriam, Penelope, Peter, Evan, Autumn, Avery, Juniper, Frances, and Heidi, and by many nieces and nephews.
Rita was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Karen (Deiber) Gallagher and her siblings Mary Harrington, Margaret Ralls, Katherine Cullinan, Gertrude Lantagne, Helen Wallace, Henry Tucker, Theresa Loucraft, Elizabeth Tuson and Ann Robey.

KAREN LINNEHAN CROWE
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend;
Karen Linnehan Crowe, 70 of Seabrook Beach, NH and formerly of Irvine, CA and Lowell, MA, passed peacefully at home with her husband John A. Crowe, Jr. by her side on Friday December 30, 2022, following a lengthy illness.
Born to the late James and the late Katherine (Chadwick) Linnehan, Esq. in Lowell, MA on April 24, 1952, she grew up on Robbins Street and then Clark Road in Lowell and attended St. Margaret’s School and graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1970. Karen went on to graduate from Lowell Technological Institute (now University of Massachusetts, Lowell), and Katharine Gibbs School in Boston, MA.
She was employed as an aide in the office of Congressman Joseph Moakley as well as in the Massachusetts Probate Court System.
Karen married John A. Crowe, Jr. on May 20, 1977, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell, MA. She filled her years with family and friends in Lowell and Seabrook Beach, NH, as well as Southern California where she lived for over 30 years. She loved to travel whether it be cross-country trips, backpacking through Europe, or the beaches of the Caribbean. She was an avid gardener and reader, and always rooted for the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
As a person who cared deeply for many important causes including women’s rights, animal welfare, youth sports, environmental conservation, and veteran’s affairs, she also volunteered in her children’s schools and the community, taking on crucial leadership roles in the regional soccer program and supporting many youth programs.
Besides her husband John, Karen is survived by her daughter Kate, and her husband Greg Pelletier, and their daughter Gabrielle of Barrington, RI, her daughter Karolyne of Norwood, MA, and of course, Karen’s canine companion, Ollie. Her son John "Andrew" Crowe passed away in 2016.
She cherished her siblings and their spouses: James “Jay” Linnehan, Jr. and Patricia (Green) Linnehan, Thomas “Tucker” Linnehan and Heidi (Harter) Linnehan, Susan (Linnehan) Maloney, Timothy Linnehan and Lisa (Mooradian) Linnehan, and John Linnehan and Deborah Linnehan, as well as in-laws MaryAnn Crowe, Raymond and Eileen (Benson) Crowe, and Martha (Crowe) and Richard Hyslip, and many nieces and nephews.
Karen was predeceased by her sister Katherine Mary Linnehan who passed in 1964 and brother-in-law Philip Maloney in 2019.

James N. “Neil” Moffett Jr.
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and granduncle;
James N. “Neil” Moffett Jr., 67, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday December 23, 2022.
Born in Boston, MA, the son of the late James N. Moffett, Sr. and the late Patricia H. (McHale) Moffett, he attended St. Margaret Grammar School and graduated from Lowell High School in the Class of 1973.
Prior to retiring, Neil worked in shipping and receiving for Parker-Hannifin Corporation for many years and formerly worked for Global Moving and Storage in Billerica, MA.
Active in youth sports for many years, Neil was the former President and a longtime coach of the Highlands Basketball League, coach of Lowell Highlands softball league, co-founder and coach of the Lowell Dirt Dogs softball League, as well as a former coach to his daughters in North Andover youth softball. He was devoted to supporting accessible youth sports programming.
Besides his wife Susan M. (Corbin) Moffett of North Andover, Neil is survived by two daughters: Katie M. Moffett of Greenfield, MA, Sara A. Moffett-Hyland and her husband Robert of Belchertown, MA; two grandchildren, Grace Solomon of Greenfield, MA, Jeremy Moffett-Smith of Belchertown, MA; a brother Brian L. Moffett and his wife Beth Milinazzo of Lowell, MA; three nieces Meghan E. Ferreira, Lauren P. Vinson, and Kathryn M. Dowling; a nephew Michael J. Moffett; a step-son Chris Couillard. Neil is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews.
